Troop 110 meets weekly on Tuesday nights during the school year, with occasional meetings on Tuesday evenings during the summer. In addition we generally have one weekend campout or day long activity every month. The weekend campouts have included trips such as biking the Elroy-Sparta bike trail in Wisconsin, hiking along the North Shore of Lake Superior, and camping at the various regional Boy Scout camps and Minnesota State Parks.

Day activities have included climbing at Vertical Endeavors, tubing at Buck Hill ski center, visits to Valley Scare around halloween, and regional bike trips.  Each President’s Day Weekend we go skiing to a regional ski center, typically Indianhead Ski Resort in the Michigan upper peninsula.

Our two most exciting activities each year are a July week at Many Point Scout camp in northern Minnesota, available to all scouts, and a High Adventure trip for older scouts each August (those 14 and older or completing 8th grade, and Star rank or higher).  The week at Many Point is filled with swimming, sailing, target sports, climbing, merit badge work and more. The troop sleeps in tents, cooking most of its meals right in camp. The High Adventure trips take our experienced older scouts and introduce them to some of the greatest wilderness in North America, including trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northern Minnesota, Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming, and Denali National Park in Alaska.

Finally, each year Troop 110 hosts a fall outdoor Arrow of Light Adventure for local webelos scouts to help them earn their Arrow of Light requirements and also become familiar with the opportunities that exist as members of a Boy Scout troop.  We have three other afternoon Arrow of Light Adventures over the course of the year, where our scouts help with other Arrow of Light requirements.
